SCRIPTWRITING

Explore how to tell a story and how to decipher the content and structure of stage and screen. Writers will learn how to analyze scripts for artistic merit, theme, character, conflict, structure and marketability. Students will attend lectures by professional screenwriters and producers who will be available for workshops or advice on scripts. As part of this course, students will write multiple short scripts as well as either a full short film script or a half of a feature-length script.
