INTRO TO TV/FILM

Develop a working knowledge of cinema, television and video production. Course work matches theory with practical assignments involving sound, lighting, camera techniques, editing and scriptwriting. Students work collaboratively in production teams. Focus includes video concept development, preproduction planning, production photography, and postproduction editing. Creative projects include music videos, original short films, news feature stories, documentary short films, and individual videos. Emphasis is placed on creative video expression, visual literacy, organization and project planning skills.
