CRITICISM & WORLD CINEMA

The Advanced Criticism and International Cinema Studies class is an advanced class where students will explore, discuss, and analyze films from the worlds greatest filmmakers ranging from Truffaut, Breson and Tarkovsky to Spielberg Hitchcock, and Anderson. In this class students will also have the unique experiencing films from around the world while looking at films from 9 regions including India, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Japan, and Russia. Students will explore the cultures through their film offerings and interpret the film using cultural context and worldview training
