SI Doc Fest Update

Last Saturday we had 3 Students win awards at the Festival held at the Camera12 theatre in Downtown San Jose. Two groups Allie Regan, Alyssa Stockman and Dereck Hoekstra placed in the top ten finalist, winning cash for the charities that they represented. Dereck also won an award for filmmaking excellence. Our teacher Mr. Marshall also was awarded with the Terry McElhatton award for having the most entries from a single school. This is a great honor as the award is named after our late friend and teacher and mentor who was one of the primary supporters of the festival in its first year.
